Three days after its release, Chiranjeevi’s GodFather joined the club of films with 100 crores. The movie also outperformed Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger and Chiranjeevi’s Acharya in terms of lifetime revenues.
Within three days of its release, the movie GodFather, which has Chiranjeevi in the lead role, has surpassed the $100 billion club globally. On October 5, the political action thriller movie was made available worldwide. GodFather has eclipsed the lifetime revenues of Liger and Acharya just three days after its release.
Chiranjeevi appeared in the April release, Acharya. Koratala Siva wrote and directed the Telugu action drama movie. Pooja Hegde and Ram Charan are also featured in the movie. With a budget of 140 crores and a gross of 76 crores, it was a financial disaster. Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna, and Ronit Roy all appear in the movie. This also failed financially, earning 88 crores.
Manobala Vijayabalan, a trade expert, tweeted on Saturday; GodFather ENTERS 100 cr clubs at the WW Box Office. Khaidi No 150, Chiranjeevi’s highest-earning film to date, brought in 164 crores. GodFather is slowly approaching the Khaidi No. 150 numbers.
GodFather is the 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer’s Telugu adaptation. Salman makes his Telugu film debut in the movie, which features him in a lengthy cameo. Salman portrays Masood Bhai, a hired gun and ally of Chiranjeevi’s Brahma, played by Abram Qureshi. GodFather, which was directed by Mohan Raja, also features Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana.
