Delhi Capitals beats Mumbai Indians and tops the table

WPL 2023 has taken a new form with a huge win of Delhi Capitals over Mumbai Indians. This huge victory of Delhi Capitals took it ahead of Mumbai Indians. Openers of Delhi Capitals Shafali Verma (33 runs), skipper Meg Lanning (32 runs not out) and Alice Capsey (38 runs not out) scored well to make this win happen.
Mumbai Indians were knocked down by Delhi Capitals on Monday. Now, the two teams have 10 points but Delhi Capitals stand at a top position with a good net run rate.
Powerful bowling of the Delhi Capitals
Mumbai Indians have just not expected that DC will come into force with such powerful bowling. DC’s rocking bowlers such as Marizanne Kapp, Jess Jonassen, and Shikha Pandey took 2 wickets for Mumbai Indians. Capsey began with 3 sixes in the 7th over. Mumbai Indians had scored only 10 runs by giving 3 wickets in 3.3 overs.

Tuesday’s match is important for 4 teams as two matches are to be played. On one side, Delhi Capitals will play against UP Warriorz. Teams from Mumbai and Bangalore will play the second match.
